Residential Drafting & Consulting

I’ve been working as an independent Drafter in Colorado Springs, CO since 2022, perfecting my craft and experimenting with different software while continuing my education. I am a U.S Army combat veteran and am grateful to God for the ability to pursue my childhood dream of becoming an architect. I work hard every day to hone my craft in order to provide a quality experience for my customers and I give all credit to God for what I do. I strive to take an approach in keeping with the character of Jesus Christ, which is to be loving, committed, patient, humble, gentle, and kind. I am blessed beyond measure to be able to do this with the support of my wife and children and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for us. Visual Portfolio

Rogers Barndominium

Floor Plan/ Furniture Plan

This was a project for a friend who I met on LinkedIn. He had a general drawing with the essential information listed out and what he needed from me was to draw it to scale and make it usable for layout and construction purposes. I added doorways, windows, resized rooms, hallways, and closets to match what he was looking for. A key component to this drawing was the location of the posts that make up structure in relation to the openings on each elevation. I provided a floor plan and furniture plan, which is the one that is pictured, in order to help him visualize the use of the space. I had fun helping put this together and he has since built the home as planned.

Deck & Slab Rebuild

Thoughtfully Designed

This project began as an idea turned reality through visualization. The intention was to create more deck space and easy access to the outdoor jacuzzi without breaking the bank. Everyone worked together to make sure the design was feasible and met the local code requirements as well as HOA standards, which resulted in a happy customer and happy neighbors.

10'x30' Trade Show Booth

Front To Back

I was tasked with designing a trade show booth that show cased the front and rear entrances of a home while showcasing the exterior finishes and materials that this particular renovation company uses. I was particularly excited to work on this project because it allowed me practice my creativity while also broadening my capabilities. I had so much fun working with on this with the sales and marketing managers and look forward to more of these types of projects.
